Cafe Caw

So, yeah, Hiii! This is Bam :) Baby just recently added me to be an author of this blog ;) Thanks Babe!

Moving forward, here's another food adventure Badz and I had.
We've been wanting to come here. But we've just had time last August 15. And this was unplanned.

ORIGINAL PLAN that night: Go to SM before 9:30PM to watch last full show of the movie 'Lucy'.

WHAT HAPPENED: Both of us left home at 9:00PM already. Still on the jeepney at 9:20PM. Jeepney stopped in the middle of Tipolo's road 'coz something has to be fixed. Arrived at SM at 9:45PM and ticket booth just closed. Well, of course, we weren't able to watch the movie.

WHAT WE DID: Went to Penshoppe. Badz picked a black polo shirt and I bought a turquoise v-neck t-shirt. After that, nothing else was left to do.

So then we decided to visit CAFE CAW and do what we love most: EATING SWEETS!

   WHAT WE HAD:

Badz chose to have a brownie cup (brownie + ice cream on top) and the raspberry iced tea. That chocolate cake is mine. And the bottled water (char.)

   Obligatory selfie. Yes.

And this was my favorite picture of the day. Baby got my purse. She saw that polaroid picture that Ver gave us :) Badz always looks good on pictures you know, ALWAYS! And this is just way too cute <3 One of my all-time favorites :>

                         

CMYK Dessert House

Oh how long was I gone? Haha! My last post was still last January but don't worry, I am back:)

CMYK's location is pretty "hidden". I literally had to google it off so I could locate it for once. I went over into different blogs and luckily, I found a map!

My girlfriend and I was about to celebrate our 4th monthsary so,  I decided to bring her here. I was  nervous I was going to get the both of us lost because I never visited the place nor know someone who has. However when we got off the jeepney, I just got the feeling that I was right.

How beautiful is this place? Pictures hanged on the walls just the the ones I see in my Tumblr dashboard, the playful furnitures and the colour scheme of the place SUBLIME! Not to mention their scrapbook menu where pictures of desserts just make your eyes pop out!

We barely finished both because of the sweetness overload! We've tasted a lot of chocolate desserts already but we just cannot seem to find another that we can compare to our new favourite; MUG CAKE! There's no wonder why my girlfriend always bring this dessert house up every time I treat her. This place is by far OUR FAVORITE! We are no doubt, GOING BACK!!

New Openings!

I've been seeing a lot of pictures in Facebook and Instagram about new cafe's in the city. A "Bon AppeTea" is soft opening together with a pizza chain near the USC- TC Campus. Also, a new cafe in J Centre Mall just opened. It is called the "Snow Cafe" located just near the entrance right at the back of the Vans store. There's this "Cafe Namoo" near the UC- Banilad Campus.
I've never been to these new cafe's but I'm sure one day I will, soon.

Fudge

   So I have been passing by this place for more than 3 years now and I just keep on wondering "Unsa man gyud nang naa diha ba?" Obviously it's a dessert house but I never really got to find out how their desserts taste. Some people say the place and the food there is expensive and only people in the high class can afford such.

   Because I promised to take my girlfriend here,  I saved money and then I did. 

WHAT I HAD:

LAVA CAKE

(just make sure you're patient enough to wait for 25 minutes!)

WHAT SHE HAD:

CRINKLES AND BROWNIE TRIFLE

   It was an amazing experience! Now, our notion of FUDGE being too high class have been proven wrong. I'll make sure to come back because I still owe her that KITKAT CAKE.

District 50

What about this amazing place with a 50's theme? And how were they able to put Herbie the Beetle in there? (Haha!) Anyway, you'll enjoy this place I know. They incredibly used old but beautiful decorations on their walls. They have old pictures, car plates and anything that has to do with the 50's. The food is outstanding too! They have rice meals or just about anything, but what made me come here were their desserts!

If one day you decide to visit the place, it is located on the 2nd level of the J Centre Mall in Mandaue in the Food Area at the far back of the mall. Seriously, check the place out!

Acoustica

 

This place plays the best choices of music! It's very rare to find places like this and me and my friends are glad to have discovered this place. The place is actually very flexible for they can hold small parties or events. If you're feeling like you want to just hang out and play beer pong then a beer pong table is located near the parking area outside. If you feel like singing, then there's a stage inside with an open mike or maybe just drink coffee and chill! OR, if you're feeling a little crazy and wash your clothes (haha!) there's a laundry shop next door!
